bambusa textilis
Bambusa textilis McClure
Southern China and Vietnam
A densely clumping perennial bamboo with short pachymorph rhizomes, so it stays in a tight clump rather than running. Its woody culms reach 9–10 m tall and 5–6 cm in diameter, and shed their culm sheaths as they mature. The leaf blades are lanceolate with pointed tips and rough margins.
